Davie County Schools

Background

I volunteered with the Davie County Schools Technology Department for some days in the summer of 2021 and 2022. I then moved to a paid intern position for the summer of 2023 and worked full time for that summer from early June to early August.

Experience

This job was primarily managing and deploying 6,000 chromebooks around the county to continue our one-to-one computing program started during the Covid-19 pandemic. Inspecting, cleaning, sorting, reimaging, and delivering laptops were all part of daily tasks. In addition, I worked on several projects around the county to assist the full time staff in preparing for the 2023-2024 school year.
